Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking to hire candidates with an ILS engineering background for Integrated Product Support projects.

The candidates chosen will be employed in complex projects for major customers — both Italian and foreign — in the following industries: Aeronautics, Naval, Oil&Gas, and Land Based Weapon Systems.

Based on their professional experience, candidates shall be involved in the following initial activities:

• Logistic Studies: conducting Logistic Studies in accordance with the most recent standards. Those studies include:
• Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Testability Analysis (RAM-T)
• Hazard and Safety Analysis
• Failure Modes Analysis (FMEA, FMECA)
• Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and LSA Record at ASD S3000L and MIL-STD-1388-2B standards
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis Models (LCC)
• Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Technical Publications: Preparation of Interactive Electronic Technical Publications, (IETP) or Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM, e.g. operation, maintenance, training, etc.);
• Spare Parts Management: Supervision of all phases of provisioning, performing all activities related to spare parts catalogues for various types of lines and equipment.

Ideal candidates must:

• Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Naval Engineering;
• Junior candidates must either have earned a degree within the last year, or be working toward a degree compatible with the expected job activity;
• Have a strong interest in developing knowledge on innovative products in industrial sectors with an high level of technical proficiency;
• Display good proficiency in reading and understanding 2D/3D technical drawings and system diagrams;
• Be widely open to cooperation and team-working culture;
• Be willing to go through a complete training program aimed at professional;
• Display good team-working skills and be inclined to develop company loyalty.

The candidate must be fluent in English. Working knowledge of additional foreign languages may be a further asset.

Follo (SP), Rome, Pisa.

The professional will work in the Information Technology Department and will report hierarchically to the Head of the Software Development Department.

The professional will analyse, design and implement management software and document browsers, which will then become products to be sold on national and international markets.

The professional will report functionally to the Project Manager, and will carry out the following activities:

• Analysis and creation of system logical and physical design;
• Product configuration management;
• Software development according to the methods adopted by the Department;
• Drafting and operational implementation of user documentation for the newly-designed computer programs (manuals and/or online help);
• First level testing and drafting of testing plans and procedures;
• System installation during the testing phase and at customer's premises, system start-up, user training and support.

Candidates must have at least 3 years experience in the position, to ensure activities are carried out with an adequate degree of autonomy.

In particular, ideal candidates will have the following technical expertise:

• Java, C#, and Javascript programming languages;
• .NET Framework and Angular;
• Relational databases and SQL language;
• XML, HTML5, XPath;
• Software configuration management.

Additional desired skills:

• Knowledge of MySQL and MariaDB servers;
• Web Services, Rest, XML/JSON Parser;
• CSS3, XSL-T and XSL-FO.

Sought-after soft skills include an interest in technology in general, willingness to keep constantly up-to-date, analytical skills, focus on results, and attention to program timing, accuracy, and a natural inclination to working in a team.

To apply for the position, a degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering is desired, but not binding. Candidates with a high school Diploma with a specialization in Computer Studies will be considered as well.
